Resources
These are the books, voices, tools, and services that have shaped my own path to becoming a 7 Percenter. None of these are paid placements — they are the resources I personally use, read, or trust. As partnerships develop, this page will grow alongside the community.
Books That Support This Movement
Good Energy — The Surprising Connection Between Metabolism and Limitless Health
caseymeans.com/goodenergyby Dr. Casey Means. This is the bible — a must-read for anyone looking into longevity. This is also where I was introduced to the 7% concept and what it takes to achieve it.
Sleep Smarter
sleepsmarterbook.comby Shawn Stevenson, a pioneer in health and longevity. One of the first books to emphasize the absolute importance of consistent, good sleep. From all my research, I am convinced that one reason my father suffered from dementia was his poor sleep — snoring and waking throughout the night for years.
Outlive — The Science & Art of Longevity
peterattiamd.com/outliveby Dr. Peter Attia. If you want to go deep into the steps needed to increase your health span, look no further. It is essentially a step-by-step guide to avoiding the pitfalls so many face with sickness and mental decline.
Everything Is Never Enough — Ecclesiastes’ Surprising Path to Resilient Happiness
penguinrandomhouse.comby Bobby Jamieson. This is the book that woke me up to not only living healthy but what it takes to be present and content. It helped shape the idea that the Mental and Spiritual Legs are just as important as the Physical.
The Body Keeps the Score — Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma
besselvanderkolk.comby Dr. Bessel van der Kolk. This is the book that convinced me the Mental Leg is foundational to a long health-span. A growing body of research, including studies on Adverse Childhood Experiences, suggests a meaningful link between early trauma and disease. This is something I believe deserves far more attention than it currently gets.
Podcasts, YouTube Channels, and Websites
The Model Health Show with Shawn Stevenson
themodelhealthshow.comThe most down-to-earth voice I know on health. Search any topic — relationships, diet, exercise — and he has covered it in a way anyone can relate to.
Huberman Lab
hubermanlab.comDr. Andrew Huberman goes deep into the science of how our bodies actually work — diet, exercise, sleep, and everything in between, what helps us and what works against us.
Found My Fitness
foundmyfitness.comDr. Rhonda Patrick explores how our bodies and environment interact at a deep, science-backed level. If you want a rigorous explanation of anything health-related, this is the place.
AthleanX
youtube.com/@athleanxPhysical therapist and strength coach Jeff Cavaliere has a video on the best exercises for virtually any body part you want to strengthen or grow.
Dr. Eric Berg, DC
youtube.com/@DrbergA great resource for getting fit through diet. If there is a food or supplement you are curious about, he has probably made a video on it. I used several of his videos to help naturally lower my cholesterol and blood pressure.
Wearables and Health Tracking Tools
Garmin
garmin.comI have worn the Forerunner 965 for almost two years. If you are serious about monitoring your stats and watching how they shift with your activity, this watch is for you. It tracks my sleep and shows me exactly how I messed it up after a drink or two the night before. It monitors VO2 Max, heart rate, and Pulse Ox, and tells me when my stats are off and I should rest. One of my favorite features — it plays music straight to my earphones, so I do not need to carry my phone on a run.
Lab Testing Services and Health Monitoring
Levels
levels.comA comprehensive app and glucose tracking program showing exactly how the food you eat affects your body. Dr. Casey Means was one of the founders. I have used it for over a year and learned an enormous amount.
Function Health
functionhealth.comA solid way to monitor your body through real lab testing — far more data than you would get from a regular doctor’s visit. The results give you a broad baseline of where you stand today and exactly what is needed to improve your numbers. I highly recommend it.
