I think you might already be one of the 7%.

Let me explain what that means — and why it matters.

What Is the 7%?

Only 7% of all Americans are fully metabolically healthy. Seven percent. That means 93 out of every 100 people are quietly moving toward chronic disease — often without knowing it, often being told by their doctors that their numbers are “normal.”

Normal is not the same as optimal.

When I handed you this card, something about the way you carry yourself told me you might be in that 7%. Maybe it was your energy. Maybe it was your physical condition. Maybe it was something harder to define. Whatever it was — I wanted you to know this community exists, and I think you belong in it.

The 7% are not lucky. They made choices — consistently, over years — that most people are not willing to make. I believe you are one of them.

The 6 Markers of a 7 Percenter

To be a Verified 7 Percenter you must meet all six of the following criteria — without medication:

Marker Optimal Range — No Medication
Triglycerides< 150 mg/dL
HDL Cholesterol> 40 mg/dL (men) / > 50 mg/dL (women)
Fasting Glucose70–85 mg/dL
Blood Pressure< 120/80 mmHg
Waist Circumference< 40″ (men) / < 35″ (women)
Triglyceride/HDL Ratio< 1.5

Do not know your numbers yet? Most people get these from a standard annual blood panel. If you have had bloodwork done in the last 12 months, the numbers are probably already sitting in your patient portal. Go look. You might be closer than you think.

There Is One More Requirement

Metabolic health is the measurable foundation — but the 7% are not just people with good lab numbers. They are people who live a balanced life, similar to a three-legged stool, where all three legs are working harmoniously together.

Physical Health

Discipline, strength, and a body built to last.

Mental Health

The inner strength to stay on the path — year after year, through everything life throws at you.

Spiritual Health

A deep conviction that your body is a gift worth protecting — something no amount of willpower alone can replace.

Who I Am and Why I Built This

My name is Steve. I am a 59-year-old engineer who started and sold two technology companies. I have now begun the journey up my Second Mountain — building Live Prescription Free.

I watched my wife fight a rare form of breast cancer at 52. I watched both of my parents disappear into dementia. I watched friends and colleagues face devastating illness far too young. And I became convinced that most of it did not have to happen.

I built this community because I could not keep that conviction to myself.

There Is No Reward for Being Healthy in America — And That Needs to Change

In the United States, there is no financial incentive — none — for staying healthy. A Verified 7 Percenter and someone who has never exercised a day in their life pay the same health insurance premium. The 7% puts almost no burden on the healthcare system, yet subsidizes everyone who does. That is backwards thinking.

The healthcare industry is struggling under the weight of preventable chronic disease. The answer being offered is more medication, more intervention, more cost. What is only recently being discussed is the simplest answer of all, help more people become healthy enough that they rarely need the system in the first place.

That is what this community exists to do. Not to walk away from a broken system and quietly enjoy the benefits of good health alone. But to grow the 7% — to 8%, 9%, and beyond — until the number is too large and too visible to ignore.
